Dr. Yuval Steinitz served as Israel’s Finance Minister (2009-13), Minister of Intelligence and Strategic Affairs (2013-15), Minister of National Infrastructures, Energy, and Water Resources (2015-21), and as a member of the Security Cabinet and the Inner Security Cabinet (2009-21). He was chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee (2003-09). Prior to entering politics, he was a senior lecturer in philosophy at Haifa University. Two of his books are the top philosophy bestsellers in Israeli history.
